Coordinates response to major medical emergencies and health care services at large events * pre-hospital emergency care and transportation of ill or injured persons * may include emergency response or transportation between medical institutions
Community Paramedicine Program Provides community based medical care, referrals and system navigation to seniors and vulnerable individuals through home visits, remote consultations, and wellness clinics
Community Paramedics also provide vaccinations for individuals who are homebound for select vaccines. Referral is required for in-home vaccinations from Ontario Health atHome, a primary care practitioner, or the Toronto Senior’s Helpline.
