Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Emergency Shelter / Violence Against Women Shelter (VAW)- 40+ beds, trauma-informed emergency shelter providing safe and confidential accommodation
- pet friendly - on-site kennel available for dogs and cats
- 24/7 crisis intervention and emotional support
- individual and group counselling
- referrals, advocacy and court accompaniment
- personalized safety planning and service coordination
- transitional housing supports
- children's programming
- community education and outreach
- navigation of systems and resources
Transitional Support Services- assistance finding permanent affordable housing
- help accessing subsidized childcare and local schools
- school registration support
- educational workshops, recreational activities and outings
- follow-up services for continued safety and well-being
